Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Nigel graduated from Oxford University. Married to Barbara, an East Coast native, and devoted to their two Westies, (Harry & Alice) and two rescue cats (Bubble & Squeek) they now live in Cary. An accomplished dinghy sailor and yachtsman, in the summer of 2005, he achieved a lifelong dream when he sailed his yacht across the North Atlantic from England to the Chesapeake River via Nova Scotia.
